Start Top to Bottom

Ceiling Fan Crud!  To get rid of the grime that all ceiling fans seem to collect (created by dust clinging to greasy airborne particles) place an old fabric tablecloth or sheet underneath the fan; a shower cap to protect your hair from debris also isn't a bad idea.  With an extendable duster, go over the tops and bottoms of the blades to capture loose dust.  Or just grab a step stool, and dust with a dry microfiber cloth on both sides of blades.  Shake out the cloth, lightly dampen it; wipe blades again, this time picking up any oily film. Give glass fixture a pass with a clean section of cloth while you're up there. Making a list of all the Spring Cleaning Chores and doing one thing a week, and crossing it off is much easier than trying to overwhelm yourself with everything in one week, making your home and your life a little more  Blissful!

LET THE SPRING CLEANING BEGIN!!

Where do I begin? I have several tips up my sleeve, I'm excited about! I will try to keep this up once a week or more often to keep you on your toes. Here's an easy one to start.
Purge the Fridge
Pull the trash can over & dump lingering leftovers, spoiled food & open bottles of condiments, like grill marinade from last summer.  You could remove all the glass shelves & bins & wash them or give them a fast once-over with a wet cloth or sponge.

Don't forget fingerprints & splatters on the door front & handle.  A fresh box of baking soda absorbs odors, too.
Purging the Fridge makes your kitchen seem a little more BLISSFUL! Feel free to reward yourself!
You deserve it!

More of the Pantry...

Before

After

Before

After
Storing like items together make them much easier to find, also easier for cooking.  Also, for the pantry storing the same thing of one thing right behind the oldest one makes it much more blissful to rotate. Notice the vacuum was being stored in this pantry, not a very convenient or useful place and taking up useful space. Moved to the entry closet made much more sense.
We also moved the snacks and cereals to the lower shelf for easier accessiblilty for little people. (Like myself. I actually have a stool in my pantry, and every other room in the house.)
Start your Spring Cleaning with a pantry makeover yourself, making your home a little more BLISSFUL!
